Sightseeing Day-1:
The city of Jaipur was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. It is one of the first planned cities in India. Jaipur, also known as the "Pink City", is a city famous for its architecture, culture and heritage.
- i) Amber Fort, also known as Amer Fort, is a historic palace and fort located near the city of Jaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
- ii) Jal Mahal is located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. It is originally built in a blend of Mughal and Rajput architectural styles. This palace was renovated in the 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II and the lake was built around it.
- iii) Jantar Mantar is an astronomical observatory built in various places in India. The most famous of these is Jantar Mantar in Jaipur, built by King Jai Singh II.
- iv) The City Palace was built during the reign of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. It is a blend of Mughal and Rajput architectural styles and was the residence of the royal family of Jaipur.
